In September 1976, I met Dr. Severino Koh and family at his Lafayette, Indiana residence. I was IAEA Fellow at Purdue University and Dr. Severino Koh was a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at said school.

We conceived the PAASE. It is 30 years hence when the PAASE University was the topic of my talk and poster in U of Cal, Davis, July 14-15, 2006.

When do we meet to discuss the PAASE University further? We can do skype or yahoo messenger. We can do video conferencing from across the miles, real time conferencing, like http://www.hillaryclinton.com

We can communicate by Webcasts.

Send me your comments and ideas. When do I send my messages to everyone at PAASE? 180 members thus far.

Dr. Florence T. Cua-Christman, MS3, PHD
I have a sort of honorary PhD from England too.
My PHD and/or DSc is because of the PAASE University, 31 years this year since I was an associate member by Dr. Severino Koh in 1976.

If and when I have an honorary MD, it will be in Psychiatry. There are 54 Million Crazy Americans. Even more Crazy Chinese.

Dr. Aurora Tompar Tiu has a book out on
Depression and Other Mental Health Issues: the Filipino American Experience
by Aurora Tompar Tiu

available at Amazon.com

I had to suffer some amount of stress and despondence and fear to get to where I am. I do not want to anymore. Do you like to wake up in the morning to taunts?

Good News: Dosimetrics has been funded. Remember Dr. Edward Arthur Christman's lecture at the PAASE meeting in UC Berkeley in 2001?

CALL TO GREATNESS EMPLOYMENT AGENCY
http://calltogreatnessemployment.blogspot.com

The Philippine American Academy of Sciences and Engineering(PAASE) has to date 160 PhDs and counting, 55 women and 105 men.  My poster on the July 14-15, 2006 at the University of
California, Davis, under the auspices of Dr. Carlito Lebrilla, showed the categorization according to the many different fields of sciences or engineering endeavors of the PAASE members.
These fields are SCIENCES, for example: Agriculture, Natural Resources and Forestry, Biotechnology and Molecular Biology,  Biology, Chemistry, Computer Sciences, Dental Research,
Earthquake Resistant Design, Food Science,  Nutrition, Environmental Science, Geology, Marine Science,  Medical Genetics, Oceanography, Mathematics, Pharmacy, Physics, Psychology,
Radiation Science, NASA, Nanotechnology, Statistics, and ENGINEERING, for example:  Antibody Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil and Environmental
Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering and FINANCE and ECONOMICS and CHRONIC DISEASES EPIDEMIOLOGY
and MEDICINE, for example, neonatologist, immunologist, and hypertension research.  To date, there are 32 PAASE members working with Private Companies or working as Individuals,
77 teaching in Colleges or Universities, and 33 doing research at Research Institutions.  The PAASE USA entities will be further delineated according to the different states in the USA plus
Canada.  We probably should delineate PAASE Philippines in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. http://www.paase.org and http://ftcuacalltogreatness.blogspot.com

The administration and online education is patterned after New Jersey Virtual University, http://www.njvu.org and Community of Science, http://www.cos.com.   Let us discuss the formation of this
PAASE USA/Philippines University at the Board Meeting and open it up for discussion to the General Membership.  Questions like:  will it just be for Philippine citizens and Phil-Am citizens and Phil-Canadians?
Would the PAASE University be funded by tuition from the students and grant fundings from the faculty or researchers?  Fund Raising? Should there be a PAASE Employment Service? Administered
through the individual private companies, educational and research institutions through their Human Resources.  I suggest we form an employment service titled CalltoGreatness Employment Agency
which will be formed to supply employees to the following entitites: Chronicle for Higher Education(http://chronicle.com), UpLadder(http://up.theladders.com/), Global Recruiters of Princeton
(http://www.grnprinceton.com/), New Jersey Technological Council(http://www.njtc.org), Dice.com, JobCircle.com, and TinyTechJobs.com. Atty Emil de Guzman and Associates said that all those with PhD who did extraordinary
achievement in the field of Science and Engineering can be permanent residents of the USA without a sponsor or sponsors. Also, I have been receiving Grants.Gov funding descriptions and
GovernmentBids.com from the US Government. The US Environmental Protection Agency(USEPA) will hire noncitizens from the Republic of the Philippines. http://www.usajobs.opm.gov/EI9.asp
Questionnaires will follow.  We will talk about a PAASE Virtual University Foundation(s) later. Here is thanking Dr. Severino Koh and Pacing Koh on their Foundation, Dr. Angel Arambulo,
Dr. Lourminia(Mimi) Sen, and Dr. Gloria Castro Bernas for their brilliant and steadfast support to PAASE as well as Former Vice President Emmanuel Pelaez, NSDB Act. We also want to hear
from Congressman Villafuerte and naturally, our own President of the Philippines Dr. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, PhD Economics, University of the Philippines. Please send in your comments to Dr. Florence T. Cua-Christman, MS3, PhD at ftcua8@comcast.net
